Predators began with a late and ended up with a start. Then, there is no middle. Or, overall this film is the middle of a journey, which started a long time, and apparently will never end. This is a cycle.

A man fell from the sky, hovering before parachute inflates, then landed in a forest and we can only think this is a film about the Vietnam war. But, we know that the Predators (plural) is the sequel to the Predator (1987) and Predator 2 (1990). I watch the Predator when in junior high school and remember him as a strange movie: scary creature-eyed creatures infrared rays, and bleed green.

So, when watching the Predators, I can do from the beginning is just waiting for the emergence of “that creature,” to again enjoy the visual sensation of a hunting a vicious, brutal and knows no mercy. With infrared eyes, they know your position and ready to prey on you. Meanwhile, you do not even know why and how it could be in place. But you’re not alone.

The man who had a free fall in the jungle, apparently fell with seven other people. Instinct as a foreign one another, they were immediately wary of each other, directing each gun muzzle. Some of them were in military uniforms, but there is also a doctor and prisoners escape with his prison uniform. There was one woman among them, as well as military uniforms. And, an oriental-looking with a neat appearance in the style of corporate executives. They do not know why and how to get to the forest.

With the arrogant, the man who fell the first time had raised himself as a sort of leader of the group. He was a Russian-faced man, cold and frightening. The woman again tried to open a conversation with him but just not friendly answers that he can. But, he was so all-knowing. He knows the origins of the current members of his entourage, and said, “We are the chosen people.” But when the woman asked for further explanation, the man returned cold and silent. Once, he even quoted the words of Hemingway.

Throughout the film, we invited eight people to follow this mysterious journey. They continued to lunge into the woods to find a way out, but at some point, they were stunned. On the edge of a cliff, they saw the sky so close and the other planets are in over their heads. That’s when they realized they were in a another planet, and that’s not the earth. The exit becomes increasingly distant from the hope while later emerging forest dogs very strange and wild, which was followed by the emergence of other creatures are even stranger.

Director Nimrod Antal preserve the “authenticity” of this third installment in the movie Predator as a horror-thriller about the hunt aliens against humans, and mixes it with a science-fiction about “survival” are ominous.
